Made from high strength steel that exceeds the tensile and yield requirements of ASTM Water Well Pipe Specification A-589, Type II. This carefully inspected steel, made to Wheatland specifications, assures that you are getting optimum rigidity and strength in the pipe. Each end of the pipe is faced and reamed to remove rough edges. Then, a drift pin with a 3/32" clearance is passed through each length of pipe to assure a smooth internal surface and the I.D. dimensions of the A-589 specification. Additionally, we have reamed and drifted couplings and tapered pipe threads provide for proper make-up every time. Which means safe, trouble-free driving of pipe. Tensile Strength
