Rivets & Riveting Tools   Manufacturer Part Number Cross Reference Sheet

QUICK RIVETING

ZIPRIV and ZIPSHO

The Modern, Faster, Low Finished Cost Successor to Blind Riveting

QuickRivets are permanent fastener designed for blind or 1 sided riveting in medium and high volume applications. Rivets are aligned in a paper strip called a pod or magazine so that the rivets can be automatically fed into the quickriveter. The result? An increased output, lower assembly cost and labor saving permanent fastening solution.

SPECIALTY RIVETING

CHECKMATE

The Checkmate Rivet is a two piece male/female component that offers a near flush installation on both sides of the work piece. The backside protrusion typical on blind fasteners is eliminated and the large flange offers increased bearing surface to both sides. The Checkmate product line can be used in grips from .625 to over 4.00" long and each size has a very wide grip range for variations in substrate material thicknesses. Can be used as a pivot or a riveted joint. Not a truly blind fasteners, access to both sides of the work piece during installation is necessary.

STEMLOCK Structural Rivet

The Stemlock is an advanced structural fastening solution that has among the highest shear and tensile values available because the mandrel is locked into the shear plane. The internal locking mechanism insures positive mandrel retention and will break flush with the head. The Stemlock is designed to form a bearing surface flange at the rear side of the substrate. This rear flange is perfect for thin sheet or imperfect holes offering impressive clamp up forces without deforming the substrate.

TRIFIX

The TriFix is used is a wide grip fastener capable of being used in applications where thicknesses vary or in large or irregular shape holes. Used in soft or brittle materials such as aluminum, plastic or acrylic, this fastener creates a wide load bearing surface at the tail by flowering out into three equidistant legs, much like a moly bolt. Because the TriFix has multigrip properties, it can be used to reduce inventory of standard grip rivets.

RivInoxII Stainless Steel Multi Grip

Traditionally used in harsh environmental or chemical applications where stainless steel and a high shear strength is required. The RivInoxII to is designed to create a bearing surface flange on the backside which is ideal in thin sheet metal applications. This bearing surface flange offers higher pullout ratings and reduces excess clamping force on the substrate material.

MultiGrip- RT (Ring Type)

MultiGrips have a wider grip range than standard blind rivets allowing them to be used in a variable grip applications. MultiGrips are also a good catalyst in reducing inventory SKU's as one rivet could encompass the grip range of up to 3 different sizes of standard blind rivets. Ring Type MultiGrips are offered in Alu/Steel or Alu/Alu. Steel/Steel are offered in "Crimp Type" MultiGrips and Stainless/Stainless are offered under the product name RivInox2.
