Security fasteners are also known as loss prevention fasteners or tamper resistant fasteners.  Typically they are offered as bolts, screws, nuts and anchors and are designed to prevent theft and vandalism.  A tamper proof drive makes it more difficult for the fastener to be removed.

Tamper resistant screws require a special tool used in installation and removel of the part.
